Stale PIDs again as an error and can't run AVPN w/out restarting

Description

AVPN run for a few days w/out errors. Today, I noticed that the tunnels I opened were not available and the AVPN wasn't running. When I attempted to run it, it reported "Stale PIDs" and refused to run at all. Although newer versions do run and I can connect, "Stale PIDs" problem is clearly still present and this time it presentated itself upon AVPN spontaneously crashing/turning off. I believe that the developer should put into effect a PIDs file check process that would try to "unstale" it, if the restart is the only option it just makes sense. It is clearly impossible that the only solution for scuh a problem is restarting every time, especially because I NEVER get any such errors when running SSH from the command line.

I can not be 100% sure, but you might have problem with launchd. Look into log file ( "Open Log" button on debugging dialog (wrench & can of pesticide icon)). Once you got "Stale pid message", is last line in the log looks like "... Status : default|Starting|Starting profile"? If it does look like this, you need to restart launchd ( "Kill launchd" button on debugging dialog).
