Using SSH Host's DNS Instead of Known Servers Manager

Description

Is there a way to use the SSH Host's DNS instead of AlmostVPN's Known Servers Manager? When there are changes to the Host's configuration, then all the remote computers need to change their AlmostVPN settings in Known Servers Manager. It would be easier from a user standpoint to just to use the Host's DNS resources to resolve the private network's host names as it normally works when using SSH directly.

  • keywords set to host name resolution.
  • status changed from new to assigned.
  • milestone set to AlmostVPN 0.9.12.

I guess what we really need is to be able to use both. AlmostVPN facilities when DNS does not work and DNS when it does. I see what I can do for next release.

  • status changed from assigned to closed.
  • resolution set to fixed.

Fixed. New behavior described here Known Server Manager.
