I followed the instructions for installing your software for use with Usenet newserver through Secure-tunnel.com. They instructed me to put the command line:
ssh -l username -L 119:st-news-east.usenet.com:119 tunnel-east.secure-tunnel.com
I entered my username and password and when I try to test the account I get no response. Then when i try to run the tunnel, I get an error about not being able to resolve the name tunnel-east.secure-tunnel.com. But of course, I can ping it fine. Then trying to close the preference window, I get constant errors which will not go away, I have to force quite System Preferences. But to fix the problem, I found that by simply manually adding another tunnel to the above one, and then immediately deleting it, would make this problem disappear.
