So slow appears to crash

Most tasks that i perform bring up the spinning beach ball and are reported by the "Force Quit Applications" as a non responding application.

I'm running a a 17" Macbook Pro with 2Gig ram. When i right click SSH servers so as to add a new one the application takes over 40 seconds to respond. Adding in the below text into the "Command line option caused the applcation to fail (I only waited 2 minutes here).

Andre, while this happening, could you please start /Application/Utilities/Activity Monitor and see which application "eats" your CPU time (Open Activity Monitor window Comand-1 and than sort by "%CPU")?

Also, could you please take a look at these 3 files: 

~/Library/Application Support/AlmostVPNPRO/almostvpn.log
/var/log/system.log
/Library/Logs/Console/< your user id >/console.log

Any of these logs have any "suspicious" messages added to them while this problem occur? Any of them grow rapidly?

What you observe is most certainly is NOT the way AlmostVPN supposed to work. On my computer it took less than a 1second to import your command line.

I really would like to get to the bottom of it, Sorry for inconvenience.

PS Just checking, you are running 1.0 RC2?

I am not 100% sure, but I did fix one issue for RC3 which might be responsible for your problem. RC3 should be out in next few days. Try it and see if it behave any better.

I am not closing this issue until I got confirmation that it was indeed fixed.
