Sleep -> IP change -> Wake -> AlmostVPN Stops working

Description

In one of the corporate environments that I am in, each ethernet jack as an IP address assigned to it.

When I put my laptop to sleep, go to another room, plug it back in, and wake up the powerbook, AlmostVPN doesn't release the old IP Address binding and needs to be completely stopped and started again.

If you laptop went to sleep, it should not happen. Could you please e-mail or attach to this ticket

Also, could you check if you have AVPN.agent among your login items?

I am wondering if this is the problem I have been having with my powerbook. I put it to sleep at home to take to work, and have to re-start almostvpn... same thing happens when I come home.

First of all, about sleeping problem. It seems that RC3 failed to install (and start) properly AVPN.Agent. Without Agent running, AlmostVPN can not react on SLEEP/WAKEUP events. As a result, all kind of problems.

This problem (along with many others) was fixed and new build is available at:

Gerry, I do see some strange things in your almostvpn.log. I will send you e-mail shortly with some questions.
