As of RC3 AlmostVPN/PRO can act as SOCKS5 proxy.

To enable proxy functionality you need to "check" SOCKS Proxy: checkbox on Preferences/General screen. Once you enable proxy, you can change port number you want the proxy to accept connections on (run on port, default 1080). If you want to be able to connect to the proxy from other computers, you will need to "check" share with others checkbox.
NOTE Every time you changed proxy status (enable or disable), you will need to Restart AlmostVPN Server. It takes 5-10 second to server to restart. Wait until status light cycle green-gray-green.
Once proxy has been enabled, it could be used all the time (with or without AlmostVPN profiles running ). If there are no any AlmostVPN profiles running, the proxy will try to connect to target host directly. If there is at least one AlmostVPN profile running, the proxy will try to connect to target host via established ssh connections. The proxy will try these connections one by one until it either succeed or run out of connections.
NOTE Simples way to configure profile which could be used by the proxy is to drag SSH Server to profile. It will create Host Alias for this server, but also it will create ssh connection which could be used by the proxy (RC2z requires SSH Server to have at least single service defined. This requirements has been removed in RC3 ).
