What's New in Version 2.4:

  • GPS Tracking in on-line and off-line modes (distance/avg speed/altitude) - push and hold GPS button to activate,
  • Chinese localization (traditional and simplified),

Bought MapPocket (full) for offroading in Amazonian plains and jungle (southeast Venezuela, northeast Brazil). Very unterested in satellite and terrain maps for ipad. My wishlist is: - a coordinate grid overlaid on the images, for orientation and helping capture tiles (this is not easy to do) - the possibility of twin capture: satellite and terrain simultaneously (or one after the other, but automated) maybe stored in separate files, but with the capability of switching from terrain <-> satellite at the same position and zoom level (this should be easy to automate). - Just ordered the "Bad Elf GPS receiver" external for the ipad/iphone.
