Introducing MapPocket LITE

MapPocket first appeared on iTunes Store about 10 months ago. Since then we have been steadily adding new functionality, features and capabilities. We kept the same low price even though the app has become much more advanced. Finally, with the introduction of MapPocket v.2.4, we raised the price to $2.99. We feel that with price increase user should be able to “try before you buy”. Hence we created MapPocket LITE.

MapPocket LITE is a free version of MapPocket. In comparison with the full version it lacks 2 features:

• it can record maps at the fixed zoom level only (full version allows to record up to 6 zoom levels at the same time);
• it does not provide any map sharing functionality (full version allows to share maps between all your devices using iCloud or DropBox).

MapPocket LITE is available on iTunes Store since Feb 8, 2012. On it’s first full on iTunes it climbed to the top 10 free app in it’s category in USA, Canada, UK and Australia.
