Why MapPocket is different?

MapPocket belongs to the off-line maps subcategory of Travel/Navigation category on iTunes Store.

Most apps in this category use a single map source. However, MapPocket allows to use one of four: Google, Mapquest, Bing or OpenStreetMap.org. Moreover, there are even fewer apps in the off-line maps category that provide access to Google maps.

Another quite distinct feature is a map sharing functionality: MapPocket utilizes either iCloud or DropBox to automatically share saved maps between all users’ devices (iPhone, iPad and/or iPod).
