Now that we can assume some level of familiarity with basic concepts behind SSH, we can start to talk about how to use it. First of all, you have to read and fully understand this very long man page for ssh. Just kidding.  You only have to read it if you are NOT going to use AlmostVPN.

AlmostVPN GUI consists of 5 major views and number of supplementary dialogs.  These views are:

• Accounts Manager View. This view deals with creating/deleting/modifying SSH accounts.
  
• AlmostVPN Connections View.  This view deals with AlmostVPN connections.
• Drives View. This view allows to configure access to remote drives.
• Tunnels View. This view is mostly for advanced users who need direct access to tunneling functionality.
• Summary View. This view is used mostly for shameless self-promotion of Leaping Bytes,LLC, but it also can be useful when you need to do "sanity check" of your configuration.
  

Supplementary dialogs are dealing with:

• Quick Start Initial Configuration.
  
• Profiles Management.
• Names Management.

AlmostVPN GUI language

AlmostVPN uses some common visual elements all across the GUI.  Here are few of the most important ones with short description of what happens if you click on them.

Visual Element	Description
	Add new THING. Nature of the thing depends on where in the GUI you see this button.  For example, in Account Manager View it would be an account.
	Delete currently selected THING. You will see this button under every table of things in the GUI.  Once you selected one of the things from the table you can delete it by clicking on this button.
	Create a copy of currently selected THING. You will use it if you want to create new thing, which is almost but not entirely unlike currently selected thing. Share and enjoy.
	Pop up supplementary dialog.  You will see this button next to combo boxes and poped up dialog will let you manage things, which populate that combo box list.
	Locked/Unlocked.  You will see this button in the left top corner of the GUI. It is toggle. If it is locked you can unlock it by clicking on it (you will be asked to provide your local account password). If it is unlocked you can lock it in the same way (no password required). You need it to be unlocked to be able to Start/Stop profiles and Test your accounts.
	Enable all THINGs. It will mark ALL things in the table as active. You do not have to worry about what it means until you start working with Profiles.
	Disable all THINGs. It will mark ALL things in the table as inactive. You do not have to worry about what it means until you start working with Profiles.
	Toggle all THINGs. It will mark all active things as inactive and all inactive as active. You do not have to worry about what it means until you start working with Profiles.
