How-To: Define simple tunnel to remote Host

Goal: To Define local tunnel to HTTP server running on host accessible via SSH Server.

Step 1: Add SSH Server (see How-To: Define Simple Tunnel )

Step 2: Add Host to SSH Server

Control-Click (Right Click) on newly added ssh server and select Host

Enter host name into New Host dialog. If host name is resolvable, AlmostVPN will auto-fill Address. Otherwise, enter the address.

Step 3: Define HTTP Service

Once host has been added, Control-Click (Right Click) on it and select Service

Select HTTP from Service Name combo box. AlmostVPN will auto-fill Port Name field

When you finish, press Done button. You should see something like this
