WoW2GO User Manual
Install
Download zip file containing latest version of WoW2GO. Say "yes" if you have been asked about "unzipping the file" and/or "WoW2GO contains application". Copy WoW2GO to your applications folder (could be any folder, but usually it is /Applications or ~/Applications )
Activate
Request your trial license. In a few minutes, you should receive e-mail with your license. Follow instructions in the e-mail to complete activation.
NOTE: Unless you have requested and installed trial license, WoW2GO will allow you to play only for 15 minutes. Trial license will allow you to evaluate WoW2GO for 2 weeks. If you like to use WoW2GO beyond 2 week trial period, you should buy perpetual license at Kagi store.
Configure
If your have WoW installed in "none-standard" location, you will need to "tell" WoW2GO where it is.
Click on WoW icon and you will be presented with File Selection Dialog. Navigate to you WoW folder and select WoW application. You can always check what WoW2GO 'think' about location of your WoW by looking at tooltip over WoW icon.
Next you need to create at least one configuration. Click on "+" button in the right top corner.
NOTE: You can change configuration name from default "My Configuration" to something more meaningful, just by typing new name.
First bit of configuration information you will need, is Protocol:
Presently, you have 3 choices:
- SOCKS (connect via SOCKS 4 or SOCKS5 proxy),
- HTTP (connect via HTTP proxy),
- SSH (connect via SSH Server)
Once you have selected a protocol, you have to enter Host:(name or IP address).
NOTE: If your proxy/server using none-standard port number (1080 for SOCKS, 80 for HTTP and 22 for SSH), you can specify port number by using following notation host name:port number.
In many cases, this is all you need to configure. However, sometimes you will need to provide authentication information in order to connect to the proxy/server. Enter User Name: and Password: into appropriate fields.
Password-less login to SSH Server
In case of using SSH Server, quite often you will need to specify which identity file should be used for authentication. You can enter path to appropriate identity file into Identity: field.
NOTE: If your identity file is passphrase protected. You can enter passphrase into Password/Passphrase: field.

Use
Once you have created your configuration, you can start playing. Start button will start WoW2GO connection, but will not start WoW.
Play button will start connection and then will launch WoW.
Once you press Start button, it's label will be replaced with progress indicator
Once WoW2GO connection have started, Start button will change its label to Stop and status Running will be displayed in left bottom corner of the GUI
