General

Q: Is it legal to use WoW2GO?

A: It is absolutely legal. WoW2GO does not modify World Of Warcraft application and/or data streams between this application and Blizzard servers. It acts the same was as "generic" VPNs, re-routing data streams over appropriate tunnels.

NOTE: You still may end up in trouble with your IT department (assuming that you are using WoW2GO to circumwent firewall).

License

Q: How long my license will last?

A: WoW2GO license is "perpetual". It entitles you to use latest version of WoW2GO and all following 1.x versions forever. When/If 2.x version of WoW2GO will be produced, 1.x license will entitle you to meaningful discount.

NOTE:If you are using WoW2GO to access Gamepath/Smoothping kind of services, you will still have to pay appropriate fees to the service provider. Leaping Bytes is not associated with companies like Gamepath/Smoothping and WoW2GO license does not entitle you to any kind of special discounts from such companies.

Q: I lost my license, what should I do?

A:Enter your greeting/name and e-mail address into "Get Trial License" form on front page. Your license will be re-emailed to you. This will work for trial license (until it expires) and perpetual license.

Q: WoW2GO reports "invalid license"

A:Most likely the problem is due to the fact that you have removed the license file after "activation". WoW2GO does not "store" license, it just remember path to license file. Quite often, people will save license file, "activate" WoW2GO by clicking on the license file and then removing this file (or just leaving it in some place where it gets removed after a while).

If this is the case, you just need to save your license file in some place where it will stay safe and re-activate WoW2GO.

Q: What is Leaping Bytes refund policy?

A:Considering the fact that fully functional version of WoW2GO available for 2 week trial, Leaping Bytes institute "NO REFUND" policy.

Technical

Q: Which versions of Mac OS X are supported?

A: WoW2GO was tested and runs without problem on Mac OS X 10.4.x(Tiger) and 10.5.x(Leopard). WoW2GO is "Universal" application, it runs on Intel and PPC based computers.

Q: What about Snow Leopard?

A: As of now, there is no reason to beleave that 10.6 (Snow Leopard) will break WoW2GO. "Tested on 10.6" version of WoW2GO will be released shortly after 10.6 will become publicly available.
